Here we present the Tsunami Paintings by the pupils of Pelana Sri Wajiragnana MV School, Weligama, Matara District, Sri Lanka.

"After the devastation of the Tsunami, the Twins team has worked hard to support the most vulnerable in our community. The project to twin schools has brought real hope and relief to our Tsunami affected schools. It is a pleasure to support this outstanding educational project.

School children in the United Kingdom and Sri Lanka will benefit in the long term from the exchange of ideas and experiences. Twins has brought hope at a time of misery, and friendship at a time of despair.

The paintings by the Tsunami children of southern Sri Lanka, their colors, textures and intensity speak for them-selves. I hope that through the eyes of children we can all learn never to give up hope.”
